Colorado State Highway 9
SH 9 is a long route in the mountains west of the Front Range. It starts in Kremmling, which is located in what locals call Middle Park, heads south through barren valleys and mountain ranges into Summit County, where it meets up with Dillon. There, it multiplexes with I-70 for about 5 miles. It then heads south from there through Frasier and Breckenridge. It crosses Hoosier Pass and descends into the South Park area and the town of Fairplay. It multiplexes with US 285 for about a mile then heads south to US 24, which it multiplexes with for less than a mile. In Hartsel, 9 heads south again, ending at US 50 west of Cañon City.
