US Highway 85
US Highway 85 enters the state multiplexed with I-25/US 87. It stays with the interstate until Fountain, CO. It then swerves to the east and west of the interstate through Colorado Springs. It then is multiplexed with the interstate until Castle Rock, where it once again veers off through a convoluted route through the Denver Metro Area. It connects with I-76 for about 3 miles then heads north through Brighton, Greeley, and Eaton before heading into Wyoming. Because of a ~4 mile segment turned back in Colorado Springs, this route is not continuous.
