Exit 148A - Bus 25 South/US 85 (unsigned)/N. Nevada Avenue aerial picture
Planned to be completely redone, this exit needs it. Northbound, the exit ramp is a tight >60 degree turn. Southbound, the exit is on the left. Because of the bluffs to the north of this exit, the only easy way to get from Woodmen to points south is to jump on the I, weave to the left lane, and exit all in about ¾ of a mile. It gets messy.

Climbing to go over the temporary Nevada exit bridge on northbound 25. We see the retaining walls going up. These will hold the new mainline 25 when complete.

Looking northwest at the new retaining walls. We're right over where Nevada will intersect the interstate, and the road we see curving off in the distance is the Corporate Centre extension.

Coming around the bend towards the north Nevada merge while headed northbound. There's a lot of activity in the median today.

Now for the dumbest thing COSMIX could have done. Crews have shifted the lanes to the right and eliminated the continuous lane between Nevada and Woodmen. The resulting backups often start at Fillmore: during rush hours, the backup makes it to Bijou. Don't believe me? Check out the current video drive-through on my Southbound page.

The reason for the northbound traffic shift is so that crews can install a temporary bridge for the southbound Nevada exit. Soon, traffic exiting onto Nevada will turn off the C/D road in the exact spot where Nevada Avenue will intersect it.

Here's the reason why the northbound traffic is in the southbound lanes currently. This is going to be a temporary bridge over a temporary southbound Nevada exit.
