Exit 150 - Spur SH 83/Academy Boulevard aerial picture
And here's the northernmost point of the COSMIX project. Yes, I think this project needs to keep going to at least the Monument area, but that's another story for another day I guess. This is the infamous interchange where a member of the Cray family, makers of the Cray supercomputer, lost his life. CDOT pretty quickly came in after that and changed this interchange from a cloverleaf to what you see today. Let me tell you, especially in rush hour, those extra-long accel lanes are a blessing. Now to show the other drivers how they're used...
