15 hours with a 5 year old trip
Are we there yet?
May 8, 2007: I was asked to accompany The Skirt's mom and young sister on a trip to see her family in Boise, ID. Since I didn't have anything going on at the time, and I rarely will turn down a roadtrip, I said yes. We had to compromise the roadgeek's credo of exploring the roads to get the five year old there and back as quickly as possible. On the way up, we traveled mostly at night, so I only have one picture of the trip up. On the way back, though, we left at 6am. The picts show the trip back.
Page 1 gets us started on the trip of 900 minutes. We're starting in Boise, ID and head southwest on I-84. We'll connect up with I-15 north of Ogden, UT.
Page 2. I-84 to I-80 and then east into Wyoming. See some random freak feed wild animals and a ton of cliffs and construction.
Page 3 still sees us on I-80 through Wyoming. See one confusing sign, construction, construction, and quite possibly some construction.
Page 4. We'll leave I-80 in Laramie, WY and head south towards Fort Collins on US 287. Any guesses as to what those two trucks are carrying?
