memorial weekend drive-a-round
In assembling my Colorado State Ends section, I realized I was missing some ends (Duh!), most notably in the Arkansas River Valley from the Front Range east. So, since it is the Memorial Day weekend, I thought I'd honor my American right to drive around aimlessly.
Off to capture Colorado in digital form!
Page 1. South from Colorado Springs on SH 115.
Page 2 finds us exploring SH 120, which used to be US 50 back in the day.
Page 3. SH 120 from the opposite direction then continuing down SH 115.
Page 4 takes us from Cañon City to Pueblo on US 50.
Page 5. Looping around Pueblo on SH 47 then ocntinuing to head east. There's a ton of low-mileage state highways out here with our names on them.
Page 6 shows us pics from the Lower Arkansas Valley and all the state highways contained there.
Page 7. Heading north on SH 71 through some seriously vast range land.
Page 8. State Highway 94 from Punkin Center (yes, there's a pic of this hamlet) to US 40/287. More shots of open prarie and antelope.
