Colorado State Highway 67
Colorado 67 has a meandering south and west path from Sedalia to Wetmore. Along the way it goes through the towns of Deckers, Woodland Park, Divide, Cripple Creek, and Florence. Though you can travel the entire route, it is not continuously a state highway today. I've documented it from the official ending to the official beginning. (I drove it north to south instead of south to north. So there!) I'll be adding my fair share of my off the wall humor along the way. Who says you need a good radio for this long of a trip? Just have me beside you babbling constantly! :D

Page 1 Takes us from the northern terminus in Sedalia on the Front Range to Rampart Range Road. We go from plains to mountains in 10 minutes. Gotta love Colorado. While this stretch of highway is state-maintained, you'll notice a distinct lack of shields saying you're actually on a state highway.

Page 2 takes us from the Front Range and Rampart Range Road through the Platte River valley. It stops at Deckers. At one time, this section was state-maintained. It was turned back and is now signed as County Road 67.

Page 3 shows us state highway 67 from Deckers to Woodland Park. Learn about the Two Forks Dam (well, a little bit) and see the damage a wildfire can do on this stretch of highway.

Page 4 shows us state highway 67 from Woodland Park to Victor. We'll pass through Cripple Creek and go over the tallest bridge in the state highway system on this page.

Page 5 shows us through Phantom Canyon. This is also not a part of today's highway 67, and you'll understand why as we travel along. We also get to go over one of the coolest bridges I've had the pleasure of driving on.

Page 6 is the southernmost section of state highway 67. It travels across the Arkansas River, past the meanest criminals in all the land, and quietly ends in a small town.

All of the picts in this page are mine and mine alone unless otherwise noted. Remember, kids: stealing is bad, mmmm-k? I get quite pissy if things are taken without telling me. I don't like to be pissy. You won't like it either. If you want to link to this page, that's fine. Please shoot me an email beforehand so I can link to your page as well. K? Thanks. --Ryan
